2024 Best in HR Awards - DEADLINE EXTENDED The Charlotte Business Journal is accepting nominations for its annual HR Awards, which recognize the important work individuals, companies and organizations do in the field of human resources to make area firms and organizations successful. Deadline: Thursday, July 25, 2024 Eligibility Requirements ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS The Charlotte Business Journal will present its annual HR Awards to honor the vital work human resources professionals and their businesses perform in making firms in the Charlotte region successful. We are looking for the best human resources programs or practices that have had a positive impact on employees and the overall organization. We are seeking nominations for the following categories: - Publicly-held companies - Private companies (large, medium and small categories) - Nonprofit organizations  - Education - Government - Rising Star - Lifetime Achievement Award Winners will be honored at an awards event, and will be featured in a special section in the Charlotte Business Journal!     How to participate: To be eligible for the HR Awards, candidates must be nominated for outstanding human resources achievements in any of the nine categories listed, and must be based in any of the following Charlotte area counties:        In North Carolina: Alexander, Anson, Cabarrus, Catawba, Cleveland, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, Rowan, Stanly and Union.         In South Carolina: Chester, Chesterfield, Lancaster and York.   Winners will be selected based on information provided through the nomination process and reviewed by Catapult. The winners in each category will be announced during the Business Journal event and on our website.   Here are the details: Requirements - Company or organization entries should be based on an HR program/practice currently in operation, or recently completed. - The program/practice must be the result of your organization's own work and not that of a consultant. - It should solve a business problem, enhance your organization in some way or maximize a business opportunity. - Nominees must be based in one of the following counties: In North Carolina: Alexander, Anson, Cabarrus, Catawba, Cleveland, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, Rowan, Stanly and Union.
